Dear all,
I am sure some of you have been in the same position.
I am 60 points short of WP my SC points expire 30th September.
What is the best way without paying $800.00 syd-cbr-syd in J class. (I live in Sydney)
Any advice or sugestions welcome.

You have 60 odd days to do a quick JASA, SYD-ADl for 24K of points and $88 along with a rededeal back is easily done.

Personally I'd take a LAN J flight from SYD to AKL have a short break there and then make your way back. Return it's about 700 ish, it's a better J product as it is a long haul plane and I actually want to visit Auckland unlike Canberra.

i'm doing SYD-PQQ-SYD-CFS-SYD-TMW-SYD one day in September for about $450. 60SCs

Sale tickets ends today! so get them fast~

SYD-CNS-SYD make one flight a red e-deal and the other a flexi saver for $528 earning 60 SC.

Or Red-E to CBR - $85, Flexi to BNE via Syd - $277 - Red-E back to SYD - $95 TOTAL $457.

If you've got the points though, a JASA to CBR return would be the easiest.

However, QF is very slow in crediting the FF and SC points for LAN flights. We submitted claims 4 weeks ago and are still waiting ... So, make sure you give yourself enough time to do the run to get your plat. I think the points will be back dated, but you will have to wait for a while to get them.

Yes they can be, ring the service centre, they can be very good in speeding things up.
