I need to earn 300 status credits before August, I have a few trips planned which would give me about 120 or more but was wondering if anyone can give suggestions of a few decent status credit runs originating in either Sydney or Melbourne. Don't mind how many segments I need to fly and of course the more the merrier on a status run. A run starting in Sydney and ending in Melbourne or visa versa would be ideal.

Thanks!

Really loving some of the knowledge on here but can anyone shed some light on my SC run woes?

Thanks

I'm not sure if you're asking about QF or DJ but as it's on the DJ board I'll assume it's DJ and as such there really isn't such a thing as a status run (not in the sense of QF style runs anyway). With DJ, SCs are calculated origin to destination as if it were one sector (regardless of the number of sectors flown to achieve it) so just look for the best sale fares for the sector(s) that suit. MEL-OOL has been widely regarded as reasonable with 15 SC possible for a sale fare of about $79. Occasionally better offers come along and I'm talking dom only. Int is apparently possibly easier (cheaper?) with YUPS on Delta but I'm certainly not the one to advise on those possibilities. You may wish to read the full history of status runs and DJ here.

Last time I did the sums, MEL-OOL in J was the best bang for buck on DJ. I think NTL was the next best (from SYD or MEL).
