OK team, I need a line to sell the ATO-credit card thing.

My wife is contracting for a few months before Junior is due.

She is setting up a credit card to cover work expenses, and I'm really selling the whole "pay your tax via the CC" line as I see an opportunity to earn FF points.

How do I sell this opportunity to earn points, to someone who just doesn't care, and isn't really big on long haul travel at all? I love it, but have been a PAYG taxpayer (and employee) virtually all my life so have felt unable to really get on board with the whole credit card thing. Our grocery shopping isn't particularly organised and pre-planned to benefit from this either.

This isn't a points/ATO thing, this is a general request for help with the pitch.

What worked for you, if you were in my boat once?

Thanks in advance.

Presumably the credit card earns points. It's been set up for business expenses, tax is a business expense. Easy and convenient to pay your tax bill at home, over the inter webs, rather than having to front up at an ATO office.

Sells itself.
