New AA JFK International First Class Lounge

I just rocked up to the lounge at JFK to find camera crews and AA staff and workmen running around all over the place. Whilst the lounge opened last week, today is its official opening.

My personal opinion is this is lots better than the QF lounge at LAX.

I haven't gotten photos of all the areas yet because of all the people but this is what I have gotten.

Very much like the BA lounge with the wine in the middle there.

Quiet Rooms, what we all need with Yanks and phones around The lounges in there are like the ones against the glass wall at LAX.

A-la-carte dining: restricted to First Class passengers. This will open later in the week. The staff were doing training on coughtails when I was in there.


Overlooks where the 777's come in. Great outlook.

Am there in June, according to AA website CX F passengers will have access

Yes. Just as you pass through security.

I picked a good day to make some comments. There was a number of the design team there and it turns out they were the ones I happened to be talking to. The showers look great but the pressure and temp were cough. There was also no amenities available. They were going to make sure that got fixed. I also suggested a barista and it's funny how many people were asking me about coffee and what foreigners thought of their coffee.

I was there about 4 days ago, and there was frantic work going on! Was the 'fine dining' area open? They told me a few more weeks for that.

I posted some pics in my TR ... was there early, so only breakfast offerings.
