ill through in my referral link into the hat to.
You will get 60K (instead of 50K if you apply directly on the Amex website) gateway points via the referral link below, and I'll get 30K gateway points as the referrer :). tip after you get your 60K gateway points link it to another MR amex if you have one then you can covert them to 60K membership ascent points if you are able to link another card that has MR program ie Platinum edge etc. The explorer and platinum cards linked together are my two favourite best cards as it gives you the best point earning power and more options to transfer points to many different programs.

  • Start exploring with a $400 Travel Credit each year2
  • Earn up to 2 Membership Rewards points for every $1 spent on eligible purchases7
  • Enjoy two complimentary entries per year to the American Express Lounge, located at Sydney International Airport or Melbourne International Airport3
  • Transfer your Membership Rewards points to a choice of 8 Airline Partner Programs8
  • Smartphone Screen Insurance for up to $500 for screen repairs to your Smartphone when you pay for your phone or monthly contract with your American Express Explorer® Credit Card9
  • 0% p.a. on balance transfers for the first 12 months10— A one-off credit plan establishment fee of 1% applies.

If the Explorer is not suitable there are other cards available to apply for in the same link

Would really appreciate somebody using my link to sign up! This card offers 60,000 bonus Gateway points after $3k spend. (plus I get 60,000 points as referrer, which would be very useful!)

Earn 2 Gateway reward points (equivalent to 1.5 velocity/krisflyer points/asia miles ) per $1 spend (excl govt bodies - 0.5 gateway points per $. Some people still are having luck linking this card to the Ascent awards program - which ups effective earn rate to 2 FF points per dollar.

Includes $400 travel credit, frequent amex statement credits, 2 American Express Airport Lounge entries and smartphone screen insurance which more than cover the $395 annual fee.

Anyway here’s the link, would appreciate anyone using it to sign-up.

Most have explained how good the Explorer card is, making it a no-brainer. Even better if you can get the Platinum Edge and link it to Ascent program, and earn 2 miles per $ spent.

The referral link offers 60k bonus points for you, and 60k bonus points for me, which I would greatly appreciate. If you use my link, please advise and I am happy for the next AFF-er to get the next referral.

Although not as good a deal as in the past, the 60,000 bonus points for both the referrer and referee is especially good if you are a couple and one of you can sign up with my link and then refer their partner. Be quick though, the offer is only good until August. Remember, you can't do this if you have had a card within the last 18 months.

Hi!

I applied using a link from this forum, so I'm hoping I can also get a referral in return.

American Express Explorer Credit Card

The highlights are:
  • Receive 60,000 Gateway Membership Rewards points when you apply online using my link, are approved, and spend $3,000 on your card within the first 3 months of card membership (available to new American Express card members only). That's 10,000 more points than signing up without a referral.
  • $400 American Express Travel Credit every year.
  • Earn 2 Membership Rewards points per $1 spent on all purchases except government bodies in Australia where you will earn 0.5 points per $1 spent
  • Transfer your points to a choice of 8 Airline Partner Programs.
  • Smartphone Screen Insurance for up to $500 for screen repairs to your Smartphone when you pay for your phone or contract with your American Express Explorer Credit Card.
  • 2 complimentary visits to the American Express Lounge at Sydney or Melbourne International Airport.
  • Travel insurances.

Annual fee: $395

4 Gateway membership rewards points = 3 Velocity or Krisflyer points. Therefore the 60,000 Membership Rewards points could be transferred to 45,000 Velocity points, or 45,000 Krisflyer points.

Currently I'll get 60k bonus per referral and you will get 60k as well.

Would be a huge help in planning my trip to North America mid next year.. Thanks a lot

The AMEX explorer card is my favourite AMEX card currently due to the good point earning and features.

Key info:

  • 60000 Gateway Membership Reward points bonus after $3000 eligible spend in first 3 months. These 60000 points can be transferred to 45000 airline miles like Krisflyer, Asia Miles and 6 other programs (but not Qantas)
  • $400 travel credit (which basically offsets the 395 annual fee.
  • Earn 2 Gateway Membership Reward points per $ of eligible spend
  • 2 AMEX lounge passes at Sydney International or Melbourne International Airports
  • Up to 4 supplementary cards for your family members. This will be extremely handy for the various AMEX offers which run regularly - eg the Vogue AMEX event late Aug coming up and Shop Small promos

Here is my link if you wish to apply for the AMEX Explorer card. Full benefits, terms and conditions can be found here:

http://amex.com.au/refer/xg81l

As the referrer, I get 60000 points.

I'll put my referral link out there for my favourite card. The $400 travel credit immediately offsets the $395 annual fee. I have also made good use of the smartphone screen insurance (I have used it 4 times in 2.5 years, thanks to my clumsiness). Apple charge $419 to replace my IphoneX screen, and Amex pay 90% of this being $377.

Add on top the points earning capabilities (2 membership rewards points per dollar spent). It really is my go to card

http://amex.com.au/refer/wesleed0nK?XLINK=MYCP

With an annual fee of $395, you get a travel credit of $400 which you can spend on flights/hotels on the american express travel website. This card has helped me earned numerous flights by offering generous points earning. In return, I am able to fly back frequently to Singapore where my ailing dad is located. The savings for the flights which I can use to offset my dad's medical is a bonus.

Highly recommended card if you link it to the ascent program.

A Big Thank You to you if you were to use my referral link.

You'll be awarded 60,000 Gateway points after your first $3000 spend within first 3 months.

This credit card comes with $400 travel credit P.A which offsets the $395 annual fee, and makes this credit card basically a free annual fee card. It also comes with smartphone screen insurance, purchase protection insurance & travel insurance, in addition you get 2 x free lounge access to Sydney American Express every year.

It would be greatly appreciated if you apply via this link, this would make my euro trip dream come much sooner.
https://idap-e3.americanexpress.com...=y:u:t:i:n:x:u:S:e:a-1532395717559-1241872255

I'll receive 60,000 rewards points for this referral.

I have been using amex cards for over 8 years now and happy to assist in anyway that I could regarding amex related queries, cheers.

As my most frequently used card, thought I'd come in here and throw my hat in the ring with a referral link for the Amex Explorer Card. The benefits as discussed above certainly make it worth having for regular spend...

E.g. $400 travel credit every year, 2 Membership Rewards points on most purchases, 2 complimentary visits to the American Express Lounge at Sydney or Melbourne International Airport, a range of insurances

And, under the current offer via my link (and others :)) not only would any successful applicant (who meets the $3,000 min. spend criteria) get 60,000 points (10,000 more than normal), I would also get 60,000 points - a win:win :)

Please consider signing up to this card with my link here... and if you do, I'd be happy if you shoot me a PM and let me know and I don't mind moving over on my referral link and letting some others share the bonus points love with their referrals in here. Thanks for considering.

Here is my referral link for the American Express Explorer Credit Card.

http://amex.com.au/refer/tattlTVv?XLINK=MYCP

Essentially, for only $395 annual fee, you get the following:

  • Receive 60,000 Membership Rewards® points when you apply online, are approved and spend $3,000 on your new Card within the first 3 months. This is a special offer for using referral link that gives you 10,000 more points than if you applied directly via the standard American Express website. This offer is available to new Card Members, as well as Bank-issued American Express companion cardholders.
  • Start exploring with a $400 Travel Credit each year
  • Earn up to 2 Membership Rewards points for every $1 spent on eligible purchases
  • Enjoy two complimentary entries per year to the American Express Lounge, located at Sydney International Airport or Melbourne International Airport
  • Transfer your Membership Rewards points to a choice of 8 Airline Partner Programs
  • Smartphone Screen Insurance for up to $500 for screen repairs to your Smartphone when you pay for your phone or monthly contract with your American Express Explorer® Credit Card
  • No cap on earn rate no matter how much you spend each month
  • 0% p.a. on balance transfers for the first 12 months— A one-off credit plan establishment fee of 1% applies

It is really an amazing card where the $400 Travel Credit can be used for flights, or accommodation or car hire, and already pays for the credit card fee. Then the 60000 points can be used to redeem on business class flights such as Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Virgin Australia, Thai, Malaysian and much more.

So I highly recommend you to apply this card via this referral link where 10000 more points than applying through standard American Express site. I will also get 60000 points as referrer but as you can see it is a win-win for both of us.

I love this card. In our stable of cards, it's a keeper.

http://amex.com.au/refer/bernamNcXp?XLINK=MYCP

It is a wonderful points earner and the fact that it is essentially free, by using the $400 Amex Travel Credit, it makes sense to have one!

Other lovely AFF members have have documented all the perks in their posts above, so I won't bother repeating them all, but inclusions of Amex Explorer that I rate most highly are:

The Amex lounge access (in Sydney and Melbourne) two entries per year.
$400 Amex travel credit. (easy to use, I redeem mine for domestic flights as I like to keep my points for overseas travel)
A no cap earn rate on points. Very useful!
You can apply for up to 4 complimentary supplementary cards to accrue more points.
Transfer of points to 8 partner airlines; this makes it very easy to find available flights when you want to redeem.

And wait....there's more... the travel insurance, buyer protection insurance, screen insurance for your smart phone...so many extras.

We also love the Amex offers that are updated every month. We have saved $1000s by utilising these for everything from buying wine, flights, hotels, Amazon Prime, clothes, computers...so many great deals.

I would be very grateful, if you are in the market for an Amex Explorer card, if you would you please use my link below.
You will receive an extra 10k points, making it 60k bonus points per application when you are approved and spend $3000 on eligible purchases within a 3 month period.

Thank you and happy travels.

Disclaimer: As the referrer, I get 60000 points

Key info:

  • 60000 Gateway Membership Reward points bonus after $3000 eligible spend in first 3 months. These 60000 points can be transferred to 45000 airline miles like Krisflyer, Asia Miles and 6 other programs (but not Qantas)
  • $400 travel credit (which basically offsets the 395 annual fee).
  • Earn 2 Gateway Membership Reward points per $ of eligible spend
  • 2 AMEX lounge passes at Sydney International or Melbourne International Airports
  • Up to 4 supplementary cards for your family members.

I cancelled this card recently, hoping to sign up again in 18 months. However, given the earn low rate on Visa/MC I couldn't hold out and re-activated the card. I also managed to link the gateway to the ascent program while doing so - meaning an effective rate of 2 points per $ uncapped across Velocity, Asia Miles and Krisflyer.

Not the highest offer at the moment - but you will receive 60,000 Membership Rewards Gateway points (with $3,000 spend within 3 months). That's 10,000 more points than you would receive without referral. (equivalent to 45,000 Velocity/Krisflyer/Asia Miles) Annual fee of $395 is offset by $400 travel credit.

http://amex.com.au/refer/colmfmnyf?XLINK=MYCP

As referrer I receive 30,000pts.

Appreciate anyone signing up!
