Hi everybody, new member here and long time lurker.
Thought I'd share a funny story of my recent travelling from Adelaide to Sydney on Qantas.
I am a points club plus member and was able to jump on an earlier flight returning home in the early evening via the ADL qantas lounge (excellent service btw).
I was able to get bumped up to row 4 albeit in a middle seat (short flight so it didnt bother me).
My colleagues were seated at the back of the plane so I had trivial moment of enjoyment when I thought I would beat them off the plane.
Lo and behold once the plane lands at Sydney, there are mechanical problems with the front door, which required everybody to alight from the rear door!
I went from hero to zero. A slight annoyance but I got home safe and sound.
I must say, I use to fly budget/cheapest available before work alot (jetstar etc) and find that flying Qantas Domestic are excellent.
Looking forward to contributing to the AFF community!
