Effective 06 May 2012, the following Qantas operated services between Singapore and Mumbai (India) will cease operations:
Bookings will be progressively updated to reflect the cessation of these services and the changes will start to appear on the GDS schedule change queues from 20 February 2012. Customers will be contacted by Qantas or their Travel Agent and the following options are available to affected Qantas customers holding a valid ticket issued on/before 16 February 2012 for travel on/after 06 May 2012.
For customers holding a Qantas (081) issued ticket :
Passengers may, without fee:
− Other re-route options which may involve extended transit times available for travel between an Australian gateway (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth) on Qantas services to Singapore/Bangkok/Hong Kong, and re-book on to Kingfisher Airlines (IT) between Singapore/Bangkok/Hong Kong and Mumbai and v.v., or Jet Airways (9W) between Singapore/Hong Kong and Mumbai v.v., or Cathay Pacific (CX) between Hong Kong and
Mumbai v.v. (refer Re-booking Class Usage Table);
− For customers travelling to and from Delhi via Mumbai : Re-route onto Qantas marketed Jet Airways operated QF3954/QF3955 between Delhi and Singapore, and connect onto Qantas services between Singapore and Australia;
− Return to the origin port via the most direct routing using Qantas (including Qantas marketed and British Airways operated, and Qantas marketed and American Airlines operated) flights.

- QF52 – Mumbai (India) to Singapore

- For shortest same day connections, reroute travel TO Mumbai from :
Sydney: Use Qantas QF127 from Sydney to Hong Kong, and Cathay Pacific CX685 from Hong Kong to Mumbai;
Melbourne: Use Qantas QF414/QF127 from Melbourne to Hong Kong via Sydney, and Cathay Pacific CX685 from Hong Kong to Mumbai;
Brisbane: Use Qantas QF97 from Brisbane to Hong Kong, and Cathay Pacific CX685 from Hong Kong to Mumbai;
Adelaide: Option (1) Use Qantas QF593/QF77 from Adelaide to Singapore via Perth, and Qantas marketed Jet Airways (9W) operated flight QF3951 from Singapore to Mumbai; or Option (2) Use QF732/QF127 from Adelaide to Hong Kong via Sydney, and Cathay Pacific CX685 from Hong Kong to Mumbai;
Perth: Use Qantas QF77 from Perth to Singapore, and Qantas marketed Jet Airways (9W) operated flight QF3951 from Singapore to Mumbai;
Singapore: Option (1) Use Kingfisher (IT) between Singapore and Mumbai; or Options (2) Use Jet Airways (9W) between Singapore and Mumbai
- For shortest same day connections, reroute travel FROM Mumbai to :
Sydney: Option (1) Use Kingfisher Airlines IT23 from Mumbai to Bangkok, and Qantas QF24 from Bangkok to Sydney; or Option (2) Use Cathay Pacific CX750 from Mumbai to Hong Kong, and Qantas QF128 from Hong Kong to Sydney;
Melbourne: Option (1) Use Cathay Pacific CX750 from Mumbai to Hong Kong, and Qantas QF30 from Hong Kong to Melbourne; or Option (2) Use Kingfisher Airlines IT23 from Mumbai to Bangkok, and Qantas QF24 from Bangkok to Melbourne via Sydney;
Brisbane: Option (1) Use Cathay Pacific CX750 from Mumbai to Hong Kong, and Qantas QF98 from Hong Kong to Brisbane; or Option (2) Use Kingfisher Airlines IT23 between Mumbai and Bangkok, and Qantas QF24/QF520 from Bangkok to Brisbane via Sydney;
Adelaide: Option (1) Use Cathay Pacific CX750 from Mumbai to Hong Kong, and QF30/QF675 from Hong Kong to Adelaide via Melbourne; or Option (2) Use Kingfisher Airlines IT23 between Mumbai and Bangkok, and Qantas QF24/QF747 from Bangkok to Adelaide via Sydney;
Perth: Use Qantas marketed Jet Airways operated QF3950 between Mumbai and Singapore, and Qantas QF78 from Singapore to Perth;
Singapore: Option (1) Use Kingfisher (IT) between Singapore and Mumbai; or Options (2) Use Jet Airways (9W) between Singapore and Mumbai.

- Change Destinations. The value of the existing ticket can be used towards the purchase of a new ticket. If the new fare is more expensive than the existing ticketed fare, the fare difference is payable by the passenger. Applicable surcharges, fees and taxes may apply.
- Retain the value of the ticket in credit for future travel within 12 months from the original ticketed date of departure. If the new fare is more expensive than the existing ticketed fare, the fare difference is payable by the passenger. Applicable ticket surcharges, fees and taxes may apply.
- Refunds
- For customers who have commenced their journey a refund of the affected sector(s) will be available
- For customers who have not commenced their journey a full refund will be available
- Refunds requests must be submitted no later than 30 April 2012
