A sprinkling of hotels here and there and not really useful.

I like the list, especially as I have a very good deal out of PNH on MAS next month, now I have a $35 room at the IC ;).

Had no trouble booking a few nights in Canberra for end of August.

I got the whole 10k of points from the one night's stay recently on a discounted rate.

The Program 'can' work well for you, at times !!

I didn't think much of this list initially but after seeing your post Rick I remembered I'm booked at the CP in Canberra on business in late-August. I'm now going to stay over Thurs-Sun and have invited the old man up to visit the War Memorial etc. Two rooms for three nights for a total of 30k points? A steal.

Always wanted to go to Vanuatu.

Now it's booked! HI, 5 nights, 25,000 points.

Makes the rather expensive airfare more palatable. :)

9200 Velocity + $84 taxes from BNE, for BNE-VLI oneway.

Nice! But I was commenting as a MEL based QFFer. Y-class for 36,000 QFF points and $264.92 return. (Only on Thu-Thu non-stops - more if you have to transit SYD or BNE on other days). And it books on NF (Air Vanuatu) (so no int lounge access in MEL/SYD/BNE). May as well buy it, earn QFF points and as a WP/SG/QP also get lounge access in MEL (domestic) + SYD (int) or BNE (int)?.

Oh - and NF seems to be full service! :)

Thanks for the heads up.
I have booked a night at the CP Canberra.
I told my boss and she has booked two nights there too (cancelled a booking and saved 40,000 points + $140. Cheapest room was $285).

And the best rate I could find for a 5 night stay at HI Vanuatu (KING BED RESORT VIEW ROOM) after taxes and fees was about $1,400.00 or $280.00/night. So a good buy for 25,000 points!

Hint - select the deluxe option which is also 5000, mine got changed to Lagoon View same day!

So did KING BED RESORT VIEW ROOM :) (not that there's a big increase in value... but still nice!)
