You cannot double dip, booked through QF means spend at the hotel won't count, and it will not work for this bonus or any other. If you collect miles the earn is the same rate while also being eligible for spend on food etc at the hotel.

I successfully registered this one...
I have another three codes that successfully registered - various qualifications, like 'stay thee nights' / 'next stay bonus', etc.

Are you saying, that even successful registration ( email to confirm ) will not produce the points ??

( recent two night stay at Syd. IC, using PP BOGO, produced 10,000 points in account )

GORDO

If you register your code and are sucessfull you will usually get your points.

I think what markis is saying is that if you book on Priority club website you will get your bonus points and your normal points as well. However if you book through QF you will only get points from QF. You wont get any bonus points or priority club normal points

If you book through QF you will get three points per $ for the booking but not via priority club but QF holidays, and it won't be eligible for any promos or bonuses that PC offer, while booking through PC provides the same earn with potential for triggering the bonuses.

Thanks Guys, if I elected to earn QFF points FROM Priority does that mean the points PLUS bonus points all convert to QFF points ??

The only way to ensure you get max points is to book direct, and have your points earning preference as PC points, as some promos such as stay x get y points will only count the stays where you had PC points as your preference as qualifying towards that goal, however if you stay at an IC in Australia, because its a flat earn rate, you are often better to switch to airline miles for that stay so that total spend gets rewarded.

So in summary if earning miles the bonuses are of no value, only if earning PC points which I assume can only be used for accomodation. ??

In everyone's opinion WHICH GIVES BEST VALUE ??? WHY ??? Thanks guys

Considering points can be turned into miles, it's not hard to work out what is better value on a case by case basis, and don't forget airline miles in Australia are credited at a rate per AUD versus USD for PC points, which can impact the equation, as can status qual which is easy on a points basis versus nights which count when on miles.
