Not sure how you come to that conclusion very much cheaper than VA if 2 travelling eg sample early May to BNE from SYD
x 2 passengers using J companion fare to BNE on QF $798 for 2 if using VA $1058..that a 25% diff?
VA are cheaper using their current J disc offer for forward travel if booked by 29Feb. After 29Feb cheapest VA fare is $659 ow vs QF D class $629

I was looking at CNS and TSV where the QF discount for 2 pax flying is $499 each person, which is the same price for 1 2 or 1000 flying DJ. If you have 2 pax the capital cities are cheaper than DJ though!

Fair call, numbers dont lie.I was scanning capital to capital from SYD where the significant disc to VA I mentioned seems to be in place from SYD to MEL,ADL,PER,CBR. Tasi&DRW is a bit line ball as per yr CNS&TSV example but deff some bargains out there.
