Just received a number of the new format QF Itinerary/Tax Invoice.

Has anyone else found that for some reason they are only displaying the first flight on the booking and that the GST field reads $0.00 (on a domestic booking)?

Can't figure out if I'm missing something or if its just a case of their new system being introduced without the bugs being ironed out (at Qantas, who'd have thought!)

If you're referring to the "E-Ticket Itinerary, Receipt and Tax Invoice" then I received one today for a booking made last night, and it shows all flights (it is a 3-flight domestic multi city), and shows GST (not 0.00) as well.

So none the wiser unfortunately re your situation! :(

I have a few copies of the new E-ticket and receipt, and it does show the amount of GST paid.

It is under the section "Your Receipt Details" and it does indeed show the GST component.

I don't know what the bug is, but I do indeed have the amount of GST shown on my E-ticket/Receipt

I'd agree that the vastly improved itinerary/tax invoice PDF is a breath of fresh air.

Much better use of space and gets rid of that ghastly colour scheme of red on a manilla/yellow colour which could cause contrast issues for some customers. The improved 'zebra striping' of rows is a really good usability aspect as well, previous document colour scheme may not have helped in this regards, and there's also no lines between each column element.

Looking at my most recent one in this new format, I suspect the OP is referring to how the your receipt details box is laid out, with the GST column being blank and not separating out the GST amount for each element of the total cost (fare, taxes/fees/charges, cc service charge). Based on this, these extra columns seem a little redundant.

I don't think so - the OP states it reads $0.00 rather than being blank. I am guessing the total still included it though.

Looking at my most recent one, all looks normal.

Hmm guess it's just mine then. Seems odd all that all 3 of those received were stuffed up.

Oddly, it does list the without GST price, then $0.00 for GST then the GST inclusive price.

Seems I've just been unlucky!

Nice design, although I don't know why they needed to print the times twice - once in 24h format and again in AM/PM format.

Don't tell me there are enough flying idiots that can't be ****ed learning how to read 24h time.

Can anyone post a screendump of the new design?

Pleased to meet you! ;)

Yeah, its a bit hard to figure out what's worth redacting sometimes. Personally not worried about the names all that much as most people who know me could find those details out anyway.

Well now I have a name to a face, i.e. look for the name in the tax invoice and match it to someone who looks like they're giving up to police and/or trying to provoke someone in a most childish manner.

LOLarious, nothing like a bit of a ribbing on a Wednesday. Roll on hump day.

It is interesting how far people can get through life without learning certain things. I used to work for a rather large Australian Electrical/Electronic goods manufacturer, and part of the production line training/orientation included a half day session on reading a clockface, as many of the work instructions written for older products included instructions such as "rotate VR1 to 3 o'clock" etc etc, and people were not understanding them!

I know digital clocks have taken over but still, haven't they ever looked at Big Ben and wondered why the hands on it rotate around every hour/day?
