Hi everyone,

With the 'enhanced' QFF program, has there been a change to status credits? I'm planning on flying to London March / April time and want to use a OneWorld partner. Are the status credits for Business Class on using Finnair (the same as they have always been? 240 each way??

Thanks,

Christina :)

Hi Christina,

You should get 320 each way...
120 from SYD to (eg) BKK
140 BKK to HEL
60 HEL to LHR

Nothing has changed on this front in the last two years that I have done this.

Thanks for that. Just checking that I will retain Gold next year.

Do the OneWorld partner airlines all give the identical Status Credits as Qantas would in whatever the cabin is?

Christina :p

No - in Biz/First they do but not in whY.

Also watch out for the status bonus as you don't get that on all partners.

That is why I always book the BA or QF flight number and not the AY codeshare on the SYD to asia to get the status bonus

To clarify, for international flights in Economy, SC earn is the same as for QF.

If in Y class then full economy SC's, if in any other earning economy class fare bucket then Discount economy applies.

Points earn can vary between carriers and booking class and only QF, AA and some BA flights earn status bonus QFF points.

Hi Guys
We are going to Vanuatu in November, Air Vanuatu does not seem to be on the list to earn SC's ? I assume they give QFF points though ??
Thanks

Hi

Thanks for the info.
I might run a quote through both and see how they go. I was going to try and use a JASA seat but the point cost is exhorbitant
