Some great news for the West Aussies mainly who have the privilege of flying on ScareWest metal.

I queried Skywest on their facebook page as to why recent advertising claimed flights earned Status Points as well as the usual velocity points.
This was their official reply
Skywest Airlines Hi Jon, you are correct - status credits are new and effective from 1 July 2012.

I have seen nothing on the Velocity website yet so i guess you heard it here first
