Hi all

I am just trying to clarify my future earning on some upcoming flights to see how close I will be to WP PG. I have asked for all domestic flights to be flexi savers from now on but I am seeing some odd fare classes on my itinerary on QF and not sure if these really are max status earning. My upcoming fares are (and associated expected earning):

SYD-AKL-SYD - O (expect to earn 40 SCs total)

SYD-MEL - V - 20
MEL-SYD - K - 20

SYD-MEL - V - 20
MEL-SYD - L - 20

SYD-CBR - V - 20
CBR-MEL - V - 20
MEL-ADL - V - 20
ADL-SYD - V - 30

Total 210 SCs (plus 80 to credit from a LAN flight should have me clear by 70 SCs)

Per the SC earning table though only the following earn at full Y rates:

For domestic flights within Australia, Qantas Discount Economy includes Super Saver (classes L, M, S, V) and Red e-Deal (classes E, N, O) fares, Qantas & Jetstar Any Seat Awards booked in X class, and fares booked in G or Q classes.
For domestic flights within Australia, Qantas Economy includes Fully Flexible (classes Y, B, H) and FlexiSaver (class K and W).

Is it just that the QF website hasnt been updated for the new fare types (flexi saver)?

If the above don't earn at full rates then I will miss out on PG I think :(

I am pretty sure V earns full Y SC's. I only say that as I just booked a flight to SYD and there were no red edeals on those flights. I can tell you next Wednesday after I take the trip to confirm though!

Print and save the screen shots of the bookings with fare category (flexi/saver/edeal) would be a useful "save for fututre reference/arguement".

The status earn page seems to have had an update (taking out the supersave reference, but notably not including S (or what were supersavers) in either domestic list!!):

+ For domestic flights within Australia, Qantas Discount Economy includes Red e-Deal (classes E, N, O) fares, Qantas & Jetstar Any Seat Awards booked in X class, and fares booked in G or Q classes. For international flights, Qantas Discount Economy includes classes B, E, G, H, K, L, M, N, O, Q, S, and V, and Qantas & Jetstar Any Seat Awards booked in X class. For flights on Jetstar, Discount Economy includes travel on Starter Plus fares only.
# For domestic flights within Australia, Qantas Economy includes Fully Flexible (classes Y, B, H) and FlexiSaver (class K and W). For international flights, Qantas Economy is class Y. For travel on oneworld Alliance airlines or Air Pacific, Economy is class Y. For flights on Jetstar, Economy includes travel on Starter Max fares only. For flights on British Airways, Economy includes travel on World Traveller Plus fares. If you fly on a Flight Upgrade Award you will receive Status credits for the fare class originally purchased.
