Just opened my new platinum booklet and it seems that a couple more airlines have been added:

Emirates
V Australia
Delta

EK is great for me potentially with DXB flights for the parents :)

EDIT

It would appear these are only privilege partners and not redemption partners :(

Interesting that the website flags AirCalin, Air New Zealand and V Australia as new, and doesn't mention Delta or Emirates.

(Also, the pages for Local Hotel Partners and International Partners are blank for moi...)

I don't see any changes to airline or hotel redemption partners for Ascent members....

The privilege partners are connected to the Amex Platinum Cards. I got a brochure from Amex in the mail last week.

EK have a two for one J/F if booked through Amex and 19% off for single J travellers.

Hmm, the 4.5 points per dollar (3 bonus points) at some hotels is tempting.....

Australia-LAX/SFO premium economy with OW upgrade to Business Premier for $3,522 seems interesting value to me. Business both ways c. $12k per air nz website.
