When travelling through BME in May earlier this year, I noticed the "coughpy old" CRT TV they had in there was very discoloured, making it hard to actually watch it. Sent feedback to QF about it, and today received a reply saying that a new LCD has been ordered :p

You realise you now have a moral duty to remain in Australia, visit BME and actually watch it now, don't you? :p:D

Can you now write a letter to QF about their CRT tv's at MEL in the lounge, near the pharmac_ and down near gates 9-12!!

Hm... I'll pretend I'm doing it as I fly over there in a few weeks ;)

Nope! Will be in the Dom J lounge tomorrow, so what a shame.. won't be able to experience those CRT TVs ;)

Also can you email them and ask for Dom Pom in the F lunge in SYD?

F lunge?

On a more serious note, I wonder why they've got the current selection they have. Did they ever have Dom?

Could you also ask them about the CRTs on the 734s and the projectors on the 763s (the problem on the 763 seems to be more the tape player rather than the screens/projectors).

The 763 I had PER-MEL a few days ago, had CRT screens in the first whY cabin so not even the projector.

Not in my experience since the new lounge was opened. The only change has been the inclusion of Tattinger

instead of (I think) Veuve Cliquot...

I didn’t like the Veuve (they had 2 when I was last there) at all, but love the Taittinger.

They must have dropped the Moet then. My favourite champers is teh Veuve De Veaux in the F lounge (at that quality point).

Four options in MEL 10 days ago - Tatt, Bolly, Verve and Deveaux ...
