Hey everyone
Does anyone have a recommendation for a airport-hotel-airport driver for new york?
We have missed out on the new qantas chauffeur drive by like a week!
I have done a quick google search but would trust a recommendation or should we just taxi it??
thanks heaps

you may find an option on Qantas site 'book' transfers & activities' we found this a really useful tool as you book and pay in $A and get QFF points for the spend

I've used Dial 7 a couple of times and would recommend them, however, this was for trips to the airport. At the airport, cabs are plentiful so I just walk outside and get into a cab. I've never had to wait and it beats having to either call or find a driver.

I've never landed at EWR so not sure what the situation is with cabs going to NYC. JFK has a flat rate cab fare and LGA is metered.

Taxi from or to JFK is $52 + tolls + tip.I round off to $60.
From LGA to midtown is approx $35.
Basically we always use taxis unless with friends then a limo is the go.

Dial 7 are excellent. Do a search for a discount voucher and save yourself 10%.

For a fare from an airport to downtown, you can call them on arrival. The airports have a holding lot. They'll tell you the vehicle and rego and where to meet them. It's dead simple. You can specify what type of car you'd like and price accordingly.

Specify a 'non-toll' route as well to save on the tolls. Highly recommend them.

Hotel to airport I book a town car through the hotel concierge. Just trying to recall who I used when I went with my wife. Generally I get a cab from the airport though - very little wait and reasonably priced.

Google Uber, there is some deal at the moment which will give you $25 off a ride plus $10 for signup. You'll get this transfer very cheaply.

Then if there are two of you recommend them and get the ride back very cheaply too.

Any suggestions on the best way to get from JFK to Manhattan with a bike box? Can I just get a large taxi from the standard rank?
