Hi All I am currently trying to book two Pacific Circle 140000point award flights. My problem is the rule of having to use three carriers. I am looking a a trip from Melb to North America, onto the Caribbean , and then back to Melb. Lots of Qantas and AA flights available. We are not wanting to come back via Europe, Asia or South America. Using the interactive one world map, it appears that BA have Miami flights into the Caribbean(British Virgin Islands). I can't access these myself on the Qantas website. I have just hung up from the call centre, who said l need to start a booking for them to check if l can use these flights. I don't want to waste time planning an itinerey, just to be told it can't be done. Does anyone know the answer? Thanks

You need to start a booking but surely you can go through the itinerary with the call centre to check for availability and not complete the booking. I have done this many times for 1 itinerary.

Your other option of ensuring you meet the Oneworld award rules for a Circle Pacific type of airfare is to either go via Japan and use JL or go via HKG and use CX. Yes I know this makes the journey a little longer but does validate the routing.

Good luck.
