Hello everyone

Chanced upon this website while searching for tricks and tips for using frequent flyer points. I've been feeling quite frustrated that I cannot find any award seats for return flight from London for a family of 4 for next January. And I thought I started planning early! Well, I have a lot of reading to do from this website. But first, I have to learn this AFF abbreviations :D.

Cheers

Another welcome from me Arlene_i, were you after 4 award seats in whY (economy) or J (business)?

I have not looked but would think you should be able to find 4 seats in whY ok - a bit harder in J and may need some imaginative routing?

Do you have any FF status with an airline ? (Silver, gold, platinum etc)

I actually found the return flight home for 4 people that I was waiting for! The last piece to the puzzle. Was able to book London-Singapore-Sydney flying British Airways economy class on the last return date that I was considering (or I would have completely abandoned the holiday plan). I was waiting at Qantas website at the right date and time. After a few tries, the awards seats appeared. I'm really pleased!

Never flown British Airways before. Hope the service is ok.

Hi arlene_i great to hear that British Airways came through for you. Welcome to AFF
