Hi All, I finally got the courage to introduce myself. Hardly ever fly but used to do a lot in PNG as a kid! I would like to send a family member to USA on Virgin points. Any suggestions??

Have you logged into Velocity and checked for flight availability on the dates yet? If there is a flight and your plans are firm book it...

If there are none available on that day check a few days either side.

I am not very familiar with the Velocity programme so if you are still out of luck read up here about partner awards that may be available or transferring points into another FF programme

Hi Steady,
I checked out the virgin website & there are sufficient reward seats for approx 60-70K points but as soon as you want to get a premium or business seat it jumps to 250K points! Do you know of any cheats to get a better seat for fewer points?
