Hey All,

Just noticed something strange, until recently under the my bookings page the next flight segment said CBR-SYD which would make sense, however it's changed to just the word "booking". If I click through it still shows all 4 segments (CBR-xSYD-LAX-xMEL-CBR) as confirmed, but I've never seen it not show the first segment by name.

Has anyone else ever seen this? Should now be the time I'm calling QF to confirm everything is still ok with the flights, or is the simply a glitch with the QF website, and everything is ok.

Thanks

sounds a bit odd to me. I checked my future bookings and it shows the outbound sectors for each one as it should.

It did the same for my ADL-SYD-SIN-ADL recently, this was just after they refreshed the site look and feel. No issues with the flights.

I had assumed it was just a bug with the website.

A recent BNE-SYD-HKG-PEK-HKG-SYD-BNE booking of mine did the same thing... originally it showed Brisbane-Sydney, but after opening the booking in CheckMyTrip, as well as on the CX website, the first segment was replaced with 'Booking' also (though no problems with the actual booking). Same deal with a CX LAX-HKG-BNE booking in the FF acct of a family member in L class :)

Bne to mel to lhr did the same for me. Think its a bug.

Sent from my GT-I9100 using AustFreqFly

Mine showed that on one this morning after a JASA cancellation so it might hint at QF doing something to the booking...

Upgrade perhaps??? That's what I'm hoping for (although it's more of a wish upon a star than any actual reason)

OK, spoke with QF (I'm not the sort of person to simply leave something travel wise as an unknown), the QF rep on the phone said I was 100% confirmed for my flights it was probably just a glitch with the system. I made a little joke about that's all good, here I was hoping it was a glitch causing an upgrade, at that point in time the QF rep started strongly recommending I don't OLCI, and instead check in with an actual rep on the day, repeating the words "PE" multiple times.

Whilst I am not going to get my hopes up in the slightest, I am going to follow his advice.

Since a few months my flights do not disappear when the last segment flown (mainly AB and BA flights, QF flights still disappear when the last sector is flown). The flight segment changes form the airports of the next segment to "booking".

I've currently got a BA booking like that, however it's changed back from booking.

I've had QF bookings not disappear before so it's something that isn't entirely new

Checked my bookings this morning and im also getting the wording 'booking'

Flights are perth - la via melb this Thurs.

On another note, when i search the seat maps for QF93 on friday in expert flyer, i cant see the premium economy section???

Perhaps it's just a glitch in the system with flights to LA this Friday? That said, it's interesting how EF is no longer showing PE. Just out of interest, what does EF say about QF107? (Sorry no EF access here, and already used my free 5 days on both my email addresses)

If Friday, the only 13 seats occupied in PE!

Quite a few seats still blocked and a handful able to be selected.

by my calculations, op-up entirely unlikely on those numbers.

On topic, I have 2 AB bookings which are sitting at a fictitious future date (2013) which were completely flown months ago, points posted also, which are showing as 'Booking'.

I had that for my flight to Dallas next week.. Gone back to normal now. The loads look very very very light so not expecting and op ups.. Can dream tho :)

I have flights booked for next week and it is showing as "Booking" rather than the normal city pairs that used show for the first flight.

That is pretty lightly loaded... But hey a spare seat next to me would also be welcomed. :)
