Not sure of your taste preferences, Welsh-Kiwi, but as a British-Aussie! who likes a good Aussie Shiraz, I'd say it's a nice wine for the price. I didn't get a 96 experience from it. I wasn't wowed to that level of quality. But for the price, it's a good, easy drinking cool climate Shiraz that you can drink now and even cellar for sometime. Expect a sweet nose of plums, violets, oak and spice; and a medium to light bodied palate delivering a smooth dose of plums and blackberries, with a minerally backbone, and a touch of oak & spice on the finish.
