Doing couple sectors in Europe with Niki Airlines, from what I see they are part of Air Berlin so does this mean as a QF SG can get lounge accsss?.

You can indeed get lounge access if there is a oneworld lounge. However AB doesn't operate its own lounges and have "exclusive waiting areas" only for topbonus members.

What airports are you flying out of?

These being CDG - VIE - NCE

Hi Limewood, we flew out of VIE on Nikki last month. There is a oneworld lounge but could not find it and Niki - Air Berlin staff were very unhelpful and had almost no knowledge of oneworld. They actually told me that as I was only emerald, I was not at a higher enough level to access a lounge. The exclusive waiting areas of Niki are quite funny, glass enclosed areas that appear to serve tea and coffee and little else. I think we are a bit spoilt by the quality of most of our domestic lounges in Australia. We splurged and instead enjoyed some nice wine and food at a bar - which was quite well appointed. We had flown from Florence to CDG via Vienna and was pleasantly surprised to receive 40 status credits for the flight. The terminal at CDG that they use is very basic though. Nikki is similar to JQ standard, however pleasant staff and we received a complimentary chocolate on exiting at CDG. Enjoy your trip.

You can definitely use the JET lounge in VIE flying on Niki as oneworld emerald. I used it twice back in January and it was quite reasonable by European standards. Not sure about CDG but if there is in fact a oneworld lounge you will be allowed entry.

Just some general advice with Niki - choose a seat in the first row, or failing that an exit row. (As a oneworld emerald you should be able to.) The legroom on their A320s and Embraer jets is pretty poor. Otherwise the service isn't too bad and they usually offer a complementary sandwich and drink.
