Currently in US travelling with my friend who is not qff, no status.

When we flew from JFK to YUL, my friend was charged for her luggage according to aa reg's.

When we flew from DFW to Okla. City yest., the AA counter agent said she didn't have to pay as flying with status member. She said the changes came about early Nov.

Thought I would pass it on, if t is new info. :)

If you and your friend were on the same booking then the agent at JFK was incorrect.

If not on the same booking the agent at DFW may have been incorrect.

Aside from that; if your itineraries include international travel that does not include Europe or India you should have both been exempt in any case.
