I was recently suggested this site by a friend so decided to join up, looking forward to getting involved more after lurking for a few weeks as a non member! I am 21 years old and after several recent years of being WP (And more around 1300 SCs, without the thought of an SC run), I have just recently reached QANTAS Lifetime Gold and am currently awaiting my card in the mail ready for my travels starting next week MEL-xSIN-LHR-FRA-LHR-EWR/JFK-LHR-CDG-LHR-FCO-LHR-xSIN-MEL a nice mix of work and play over the next 2 months.

Congrats on LTG. At only 21 it is an incredible achievement to hit the 14,000 SC SC level. From my experience I haven't received an LztG card because I am still a WP, so the LTG level only appears on my profile.

Congratulations on the LTG and welcome to AFF. If I'm in London when you're passing through, happy to catch up and say hello. Don't worry .. we don't bite ;)

Hi Peabody,

Welcome to AFF. :D

Welcome and congratulations.
Amazing effort at 21.

Where have most of the SCs come from?

There is no LTG card, just a letter which says should your status ever drop from WP (I suspect most who make LTG are WP) we wil send you a Gold pack.

[FONT=Tahoma, Calibri, Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif]Cheers everyone! I have been Gold the last couple of years, just short of WP each time. When I made Lifetime Silver (I was WP at the time) I got sent a letter and silver card with LIFETIME MEMBER on it, I am Gold currently, will I get a LIFETIME MEMBER Gold one?

Originaly my SCs came from F or J family holidays, Europe about twice a year and a SCUBA Diving trip or two every year, usually to Fiji but several went further afield such as the Galapagos Islands or the Maldives. Now I live/work/study in Melbourne whilst home is still really in Sydney, every few weeks I take a flexi fare Mel-Syd-Mel for a weekend up there. Combined with taking atleast one major trip of my own each year (outlined in my original post) I still sometimes tag on to the family holidays. Without really trying I became LTS and then LTG!

Flashware, Would be great to meet an AFFer, Will also post my details in the lounge threads to see if anyone else is around on my travel dates.

Also out of curiosity how long does the gold membership on the forum take to come through? I paid for it on sign up and still see advertisements. Cheers!
