Have taken a few flights now between SYD & MEL.
I've had an increasing number of flights where there is no hand wash in the Y bathrooms.
Is this a case of the cleaning crew just being lazy. I can't imagine it is a cost cutting measure.
Most recent was 20th April QF444 MEL > SYD B767 in the centre bathroom mid-plane. On the right of pic is where the liquid soap bottle should be. I was the first into the bathroom after take-off so I know it hadn't been stolen.

We use to own a manufacturing business - it was amazing how much soap, toilet paper & even that smelly round urinal stuff would be consumed. The only conclusion we could come up with was it was being flogged.

They also had a liking to milk & coffee.....

yep..it's a case of laziness/tardiness..call it what you will..and yes i have witnessed (being in the cabin during transits/turnarounds) this laziness first hand over 23yrs of my flying career as a F/A having to recheck the toilets after the 'cleaning' crew have 'done their job'!!! and unfortunately many things get 'overlooked' during cabin cleaning as well ... i hope you relay this situation to the company as it's not good enough..and before someone here jumps down my throat about the cleaning crew not having enough time to complete their tasks...all i can say is they seem to manage to make time to joke around/chat/read newspapers/magazines that have been left onboard during the 'cleaning' time!!

You have to travel J to get soap in Qantas toilets.

But, as you can see from all the empty holders, Qantas has stripped just about everything else out of their B767 Jloos.

Even in the F toilet on the A380, QF now appear to provide generic handwash etc rather than the name brand stuff. This was my experience earlier this month to LHR.

The plastic bottles seem to fall off the bracket very easily. Sometimes they get but in a drawer.

OMG that's gross. Sadly though I bet a lot of people wouldn't notice because they don't use soap! Arrrrgh lightly rubbing your hands under water does NOTHING people!!

Ewwwww.

That is a long flight. Well done.

I tend to have 2 'issues' ... either I'm running late from an appointment and have had 27 cups of coffee with clients and now find myself just making the flight and hence waiting for that (in)famous 'ding' chime = I can visit the toilet or

I find myself in the lounge and somehow my glass of never ending bubbles just seems to be, well, err, never ending. Again I end up waiting for the 'ding' chime

..Have you actually spoken to crew?
if you mean have i actually spoken to the cleaning crew..the answer was yes, on many many many occasions..and some responses were less than satisfactory...although some where apologetic and rectified the issue..others werent...along the lines of "dont tell me how to do my job"..shrugs of shoulders...whinging stuck up F/As...i've heard it all..(you develop a thick skin as a F/A over the years!!)..unfortunately a fact of life that 'bad apples' exist in ALL occupations..but that's a whole other topic!!
