News to me, have any of you heard of no infants being allowed to travel in row 4 on the 737? There aren’t airbags in the belts on the 737 so I find it strange/irritating as I’m travelling with a child plus infant in lap and could use the extra space!

I've also had this problem recently. Some of the 737s do have airbags in the seatbelt in row 4 and given Qantas can't predict exactly which aircraft will be used they just prevent infants in row 4 completely

Pretty sure some of the 737s have airbags.

I genuinely can’t recall airbags in row 4, though I do in J on a long haul and the baby was definitely on my lap for that painful trip!

Not sure it affects QF row 4, but the number of oxygen masks in the row can be a cosnideration.

Some 737s have them, some don't. I'd say the majority of the time I've had airbags on my row 4s.
