Hi
I'm looking to get away for 2 weeks (ish) in July, and am keen to have a lazy time somewhere like Fiji. Cost is not the main issue (happy to pay for quality) - the key factors for me and my wife are:

1. no kids

2. peace and quiet

And that's it. Any recommendations? There seems to be a fairly massive choice out there - on paper at least.

Thanks Austman, that is indeed one of the ones we had on the list. I'm assuming you've experienced it yourself?

Yes - that's my review in the second link. But read the others too of course. It's easily the best Fijian resort I've been to and without kids it's quieter, more relaxed.

LikuLiku in Fiji is all inclusive (excl alcohol), been there a couple of times and it's been magic each time. Looking at rooms from about $1200AUD/night but it's worth it - we can't wait to go back. They have won heaps of awards too. They charge in NZD (I believe) so when the AUD-NZD exchange rate gets up about $1.30+ it starts getting cheaper.

Not 'Pacific Island' per se, but Qualia on Hamilton Island is also very nice and childfree. Expect to pay about $1600-$1800 AUD for the Windward rooms (don't bother with the cheaper ones). Also all inclusive though its opt in.

Thanks all. I'm not a huge Hamilton Is fan (overall) so would prefer to go elsewhere I think. I was toying with the refurbed Orpheus (having been there a couple of years ago) but I note that they now allow kids. It is therefore off the list.
