Currently the Kris Flyer lounge is closed in Paris as is the Star Alliance lounge. Does this mean that there is no lounge at all for business/first passengers to access?

The AC Maple Leaf is open. What terminal is SQ currently departing from?

I don't think Terminal 1 (where the Star Alliance Lounge is located) is currently being used at all. I believe most long haul flights to Asia are currently leaving from Terminal 2C. Rest assured that Singapore Airlines will have arranged lounge access with one of the lounges in that terminal.

Worst Lounge Ever??? No working coffee machines. Vestiges of food littered throughout by the departing UA crowds. No cutlery. Empty Bain maries & coolers. Nothing. And not a lot of care. It’s a shambles. SQ business deserve a little better than this squalor.

Which lounge were you in?

just sitting on the aircraft having been to Maple Lounge - not impressive at all and crowded.
The first class experience is not what it used to be
-few Saver award seats in First class
-less A380s in the air
-the call centre
-the maple lounge
-general inexperience of staff

Hopefully with time all these will be resolved.

Will be trying out the new 1st class lounge in Singapore in 12 hours - very glad this is now open.

Good luck! Our 50 minute transit barely allowed us to find the next flight. At least SIA efficiency ensured our bags made it …. & Melbourne inefficiency kept us waiting ….

That’s going to be me this week 😬. I have already planned to pack any urgent essentials in my hand luggage just in case…

I'm in the Paris Maple Leaf lounge now (9.23am local time). It's quiet which is nice because I'm next to a window. If it was busy though it'd be rather unpleasant to be in the lounge. Very little of interest on offer either to eat or drink. (I had to ask for sparkling wine which although listed on the drinks menu wasn't displayed with the red and white offering. I was handed a glass full (not even a flute) so I have no idea what it is (and thus what to avoid in future 😉). There are two sections, one is a quite zone and that's where I am. Somewhat ironically it's probably the noisiest place in the lounge given its proximity to the reception desk where the staff are almost yelling out to each other.
