No more HHonors Membership Cards?

I received my Diamond renewal documents yesterday. Just a folded card welcoming me and listing some Diamond/HHonors perks.

At the bottom ... (paraphrasing) "no membership card ... you want "one"? ... use the app to generate it" .. 3D printing anyone?

You can still request, online, one be mailed out to you...

Thanks surfy as I missed the line about no card and wondered if they had simply stuffed up.

That's a bit of a pest. I do actually use the card. I have it at the ready to hand to them at check-in.....save all the questions about name/spelling etc..........and gives a subtle prompt for them as to status!

i just use my Mac card as I've never received a HiltonHonors card since 'achieving' diamond

HHonors team on Twitter ordered me a new card last week so I think they're still mailing them out, just discouraging it to the masses.

The gold card I received from the VA offer has the Pyramids and Camel background (expired 2013). I reverted to Silver before the Russian CC thingy put me back to gold but no new card.

Not much HH use in the last 12 months so I was back to Blue until this morning. Status match to IHG gold accepted, but it appears I shouldn't hold my breath waiting for a new gold card.
