Looking at booking SIN-BNE on Mar 25. Classic award available in Z (B747 operating), though when I try and do it as an ASA, entering SIN-BNE on the first screen only gives the option of economy, business and first on the drop-down menu... is there a way to book in Z as an ASA for this route (given that Z isn't usually available SIN-BNE, as the flight is usually a 333) or is Z limited to classic awards only?

Many thanks! :)

It's not a 'ZAZ', 'tis a "WASA" (that books into Z class)¹

E/F shows Z7 for QF52!

Available as a classic for 45K QFF points & SGD274.90.

However, you should be able to do it through 'multi-city' ASA:

https://www.qantas.com.au/fflyer/do/dyns/auth/asrbooking/startmulticity

Cost is 45K QFF & SGD362.

This has been a known issue for some routes. Some have suggested calling and getting them to waive the telephone/assistance fees since you can't seem to be able to search for it online in these cases.

¹ Otherwise we'd have PASA, UASA and XASA rather than FASA, JASA & YASA.

Genius!! Many thanks for that - I was able to get the same result as you - now just to make the final decision (tempted to do the last SQ 747 flight from MEL the day before - just have to work out the cheapest way to book that now with no SQ FF account, though it's probably better value to just book a return on SQ... decisions decisions haha! :)
