We decided to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary here.At first we were a bit hesitant. The place was full of trendy young things.Fortunately there was no reason to worry. We started with Edamame and then a signature dish-waygu tacos plus lobster tacos-
We then had salmon roe sushi, salmon sashimi and a soft shell crab roll. Then beef and chicken on sticks-
Then we had tempura-asparagus,snap peas,2 types mushroom, sweet potato and scallops-
However we saved the best for last. Not a dish on the menu but obviously the couple next to us were regulars and the dish looked and smelt fantastic. It was even better when we tasted it.Lobster in a yuzu and truffle butter sauce with brussel sprouts and enoki mushrooms.Even the brussel sprouts were to die for.
All of this with a bottle of Cloudy Bay SB and the bill was $250 before tip.
Service was friendly and efficient and certainly deserved a good tip.
Reccomended.
