On my last trip to Canada, I missed my Delta connection in LAX (thanks ATC) and had to change the flights at the DL desk. The DL flights had been booked independently of my QF booking and hence weren't listed with the same PNR in QF.com/bookings (the DL flights weren't listed at all, as expected).

I just logged in to check my upgrade request for the flight home and now the changed DL flights have appeared on the SAME PNR and same leg as my QF flight to LAX - the leg is now Sydney to Calgary (previously Sydney to Los Angeles).

I've been doing these trips for 2 years now - have never seen that happen before (and have re-routed the connections at LAX and Calgary before).

Just found it interesting...
