Hi Members

I have visited this site a few times each year to look for answers to questions without having to trouble everyone with a question that may have been asked before. This time I'm a bit stuck. My wife and I would like to go to a wedding in Houston in September and preferably fly business, with approx 1.5 million Altitude points. We have tended to use business SQ with points to Europe and with a bit of flexibility in city of arrival or departure, gone at the time preferred. I don't mind whether we go Virgin or Qantas but in researching which one is best to transfer the points into, some 6 months out, there appear to be no (business) seats available to either Dallas or Houston. Happy to fly into another city and then transfer if required but not really sure how to track down where to go with the most chance of actually finding seats. Any guidance on how to shortcut this would be most appreciated.

As an aside, I visited the "A Note to our New Members" post from 17/5/10 to check proper protocols before posting but both of the links in this extract below are now dead.
If you have a question for our community members or wish to comment about a specific matter, its probably best not to post in this forum - rather another forum which is better suited. For example, questions should be posted HERE, while comment about the Qantas Frequent Flyer program should be posted HERE etc. There is no need to make multiple posts, in different forums about a specific topic - one post will be sufficient!

May I suggest that you look at options via Japan. ANA and United both have daily flights from Tokyo to Houston and there are usually plenty of premium reward seats on them. You can redeem KrisFlyer miles for either flight.

This has been fixed. Thanks for pointing it out!

Thank you for your time and also to Lovetravellingoz. I'll pursue your recommendations and give feedback.
