Hi all, I intend to use a credit card for all my expenses to rack up ff points. I intend to pay the charges immediately so interest rates don't worry me too much.
Can anyone recommend the best card in this situation please.

Welome!

Which program are you trying to rack up points for? Qantas? Virgin? Someone else? Most cards are attached to only some FF programs so that's important to know.

I have qantas ff but am also open to suggestion for the best value to start fresh. Amex discovery looks good to me and apparently there is a good Citibank card also.

I have an Amex Qantas Ultimate. 1.5 points/$ and good bonus points earn for spend at QF.

The fairly high annual fee with the 'free' flight probably only makes that part of it good value for someone either living in PER with a need or desire to travel east, or someone in the east who wants to go to PER annually.

Consider Wooworths Qantas Everyday Rewards card. Uncapped, $89 a year. Sign up bonus of 16000 Qantas FF points. Earns 1 Qff point per dollar spend. For a second card, the free Qantas Amex Discovery card that has no annual fee and uncapped, earning 1 qff point per dollar .This card offers up to 7500 Qff points bonus points.

Thanks for your advice everyone.
I'm going to start with the Amex discovery card for now, no fees and free supp card sounds the best value.
Still looking for a master or visa as an alternative.
Cheers

Also look for deals with a big start up FF points credit then pay it off and cancel it.

Also look for a good earning rate as well like 2 points per $1
