Hi
i made several Hilton hotel website bookings about 2 months ago and entered AAA NRMA code 307 when booking a AAA rate., and all worked fine.
this week I made a few more Hilton bookings on their website and the AAA code of 307 does not accept...I made several attempts but still the code says invalid.

I then entered the RACQ code of 310 and presto it went through. I'm a member of NRMA and will show my card at checkin and I doubt the hotel will say "you entered a different code in the booking"

Anybody else had trouble entering the NRMA club code of 307 over the past week.?
im presuming they haven't changed their code and that they are still part of the AAA program.
any thoughts?

So is NRMA still part of the AAA discount.? I don't want to show my card I'f it's not.
also, I did enter the RACQ code of 310 and it worked fine... Also can you advise what the code 428 is and should I use that over 310.

The AAA code saved me over $500 US so I want to be able to receive that discounted rate when I arrive in NY by showing my NRMA card.

Do you see any problems in showing a different card than the code entered in the booking, but both codes still being part of AAA
more importantly is NRMA Still part of AAA discount.
now I'm worried...As u can tell.

If you read the links you will see that reports demonstrate that the web redesign broke the AAA setup, if its got a AAA logo on the back of the card it will be honoured.

Thanks markIs10

I read the links, but as some were posting other codes to use I wasn't sure if NRMA was still part of the AAA discount structure or not, but on re reading again realize it to be web design problem.

thanks for putting my mind at ease. Any further bookings I'll just continue to use the RACQ code 310 and then just show my NRMA card at check in.

And here was me thinking those AAA rates were totally useless. Every time I look at them I usually find the prepaid rates are cheaper. Maybe they're just better in the US. I'll have to start checking them more often.

My saving of $500 US is based on a 12 night stay in Times Square hotel, so expensive to start with but I'm glad of the saving. I'm going to check the prepaid rate closer to my arrival date and jump over to that rate if necessary.

I have been asked for my card twice out of about 10 stays.

The advantage of the AAA rate over the prepaid is that it is fully flexible and it isn't prepaid - I generally find the rates to be the same.

it you are not a member you can always join the RAC WA at their lowest level for twenty odd dollars or so.

RACV 16 digit code worked for me the other day to book NY

Base membership is $29 which gets you the discount card

Just used the AAA rate (RACQ 310 code) for the first time today - at PER Hilton, which was a huge saving. Even commissionable to my TA, so Travel Guru makes some easy coin :D

Just note that the use of the AAA rate generally invalidates the combined use of the Maq.. Premium 20% discount these days.

Posted on a wing and a prayer ...
