NRT to ORD in J (3 class plane with F, J & Y) on a B777

Flight was pleasant enough. But just missed many of the 'nice' to have things.

Negatives:
Early in the flight the 2 J toilets had issues. Only 1 was then in service.
The crew would not permit us to use the F toilets except in cases where a large crowd would form waiting for the 1 J toilet. They then directed us 1 at a time to use the forward F toilet. Fair enough I guess. And at no time during the flight was the 1 J toilet cleaned ... so it was a little worse for wear at the end of the journey.
No PJs were issued.

During the night flight when everyone was trying to sleep the crew sat in the galley and talked to each other loudly like at a party where the music is too loud. Even with earplugs in they were loud with their laughter. So kept breaking up my sleep.

The seats were comfortable enough with good thigh support. But when in bed position the head rest was too high up IMHO and too much of a 'ditch' between base of neck and shoulders as the seat extended. So I just rolled up the blanket and slept on it.

Pre landing snack was average.

Positives:
NC headphones were supplied (Bose) which were excellent.
Seat when seated and movie watching was excellent.
Good movie selection (not as good as QF).
Dinner was good
Warm nuts (I seem to have a thing for these)
On time performance - was early
Good amenity kit

Yes I would fly them again on ths route. Price was excellent. And seemed like an easy enough way to get into the US when in Japan.
