And now is the time for anyone with AA flights October to December to check. There were extensive schedule changes made in the past 48 hours. My 13 sectors on AA in December all changed either by time changes or cancellations and hence a new flight number. I had a number barely above MCTs which doesn't suit me. An hour on the phone this afternoon to AA sorted it.

Re: AA removes it's schedule change advice for minor changes.

Ditto. In fact, an ATL-MIA sector in December has been changed from a 738 F seat to American Eagle i.e. Y. They did give me 1A though.

More pleasingly, an LAX-DFW segment has been changed from a 738 to a 763. You win some, you lose some.

No problems with MCT's in my itineraries fortunately.

I have 13 AA sectors in October and received a schedule change email today regarding one flight RIC-DFW-LAS. 12:00 departure from RIC changed to 06:25 which resulted in a 7 hour turnaround in LAS. Called AA and moved to RIC-ORD-LAS with 10:45 departure from RIC and an arrival into LAS 5 minutes after the original schedule. Turnaround in ORD of 3.5 hours is much better. Dropped a few SCs in the change but the early start would have caused some problems.
Only about 30 minutes on the phone so not too bad considering the amount of drama going on at the moment. Agent was very helpful.

Will see how it goes in a few weeks given the reports on FT.

Whats the chances i can cancel and refund my yupp?

Sent from my GT-I9100 using AustFreqFly

Family and I have 4 sectors in Dec... 3 changed, including 2 from MD80s to 767/757 :)
