Odd seat selection with problem with QANTASLink

Ok so odd occurance...

I'm in ASP at the moment, flying back to DRW tomorrow.

One of my collegues is a Bronze non-QP FF member - she was able to choose a seat albiet 16A (I actually watched her do it).

I logged on to do mine (i'm SG) to choose (thinking you can't choose seats on the 717's) only to be given the option of Window or Ailse. ie a drop down box, no seating chart.

Anyone have any idea why that is?

There have been issues of late with Advance Seat Selection, so perhaps just tied into that… a glitch.

Advance seat selection is not available for QF link flights, were you watching your colleague checkin by chance, when you can select a seat?

Hmmm, last time this happened to me for a QLink flight I turned up to the airport to discover it wasn't actually ticketed :shock:
