So I did OLCI this morning.

Pulled the usual Row 27 of 29 on both flights (27C Per-Adl and 27D Adl-Mel). I'm used to that...at least is wasn't in the middle this time with a family member on the same PNR 4 or 5 rows back!

Except...I've completely lost my allocation now. I'm showing as checked in but not allocated. I go through the process and receive this error;
We are unable to process your check-in request at this time. Try again later or check-in at the airport. [ER100]

A sign of a good thing to come at the airport (even if it is a bump to the direct PER-MEL flight)? Or just my bad luck with QF domestic continuing?

EDIT: Realising no one will really know the answer to this, I'm going to leave it to the Gods and play it out tomorrow morning at the airport.

For now though, everyone guess as to what might happen for a bit of fun at my expense (especially when I'm sitting in 29B or E on the 738!)

Similar thing happened on my recent SYD-BNE & BNE-SYD flights.

OLCI: If you click on your previously allocated seat, which currently does not display, does the flashing orange seat now appear? That happened in my case on BNE-SYD leg only. Unable to highlight seat on SYD-BNE leg.

I had the same thoughts as you...I received the beep BNE-SYD, but I had transferred to an "earlier" flight. FA looked at her screen, then handed BP back to me. I'm only QP NB, so anything's a bonus. My originally booked flight landed as we taxied to the gate in SYD. Should I have been a little more patient & waited for my original flight?

Hope your BP goes beep for all the right reasons!

Just tried to no avail.

Thanks! Although I highly doubt the best will occur :p

Better get to sleep otherwise I'll be watching the plane take off without me at 0625!

What seat does www.checkmytrip.com show for you?

I checked that last night too...showed no allocation, just like OLCI. (And still does, actually)

However at the airport now and just done NGCI for the first time (I love it!), and I am in the seats I was originally allocated. 27C for PER-ADL and 27D for ADL-MEL..whatever. First flight should be relatively empty, X was at >9 last night.

I have had this where the seat allocation disappears totally.
I was able to speak to an AFF'er who works at QF, who was able to tell me that my seat selection held, so it seems to be a glitch in the OLCI system from time to time

I have received this message in the past but I think it has something to do with OLCI and the seat map getting confused with one another. I have noticed that in my case it has fixed itself later on before the flight.

Has happened to me twice in the last three weeks - both times it was fine at the airport, I still had my pre-selected seat.

Happened to me yesterday when my OLCI allocated seat (2A on Crash-8 400) showed as exit row, which it isn't. Allocated seat was not highlighted at all.
Wouldn't print a BP but said I had to go to service desk for my Exit row BP.
Weird:confused:
