I was wondering if anyone collected old air tickets or there was a website for this sort of thing. I don't collect them and I can't imagine they are worth anything but I've found a very old one in some stuff I've inherited. It's a TAA ticket from Launceston to Melbourne in 1950. It cost the princely sum of five pounds which was probably a week's wages or more then. I found it a while ago and left it in the box with the other stuff but I was thinking about it and wondered if there were collectors of this stuff. I've found websites where they have all the airline freebies from all over the world for sale going back a few years but couldn't find anything like this.

Anyway I'd be interested to know. I might dig it out and scan it if anyone is interested.

You will always find someone willing to buy old things.
