One way Sydney to Tokyo Feb 2017

Hi everyone,
just got dates for our winter tour to Hokkaido next year and want to use QF points for the flights. Managed to snag two J tickets for the return on 19 Feb 17 but cannot find any in PE or J for the Syd-Tokyo flight on 3rd or 4th Feb 2017. It does not matter if we fly into Narita or Haneda. I understand that JAL will release its flights for 3 Feb in about a week and I seem to have to book them by phoning Qantas FF, (which I did to get the return leg). We prefer a direct flight but would be OK going via HK or perhaps Brisbane. Is there any way I can book points flights on JAL on the net? Any other suggestions as to how we could get Syd -Tokyo on points in PE or J? I have enough QF points for either option and have a small number of Velocity points, which are not of much use. Interestingly when I tried to book Tokyo - Syd by logging into QF ff it took me to the Japanese web site and everything was in Yen.
Any advice from our experts would be appreciated otherwise we'll have to pay for a one way trip or go in Y via somewhere!

The QF BNE-NRT flight is an A330 and does not have PE.
The oneworld options with PE would be QF SYD-HND, JL SYD-NRT or via HKG with CX.

thanks Himeno. I was offered Classic Awards only in Y from Bne to Tokyo and you have explained why no PE came up. All of the CX options were also in Y and nothing was available on QF direct. Looks like JL might be the best option for PE or J in about 5 days; their flight availability at the moment is up to 29 Jan 17.

Yep will have to call for JL. Good option though as the fuel surcharges should be minimal.
