I have a business credit card. For the business, they have to have a card with interest free days as they settle all the accounts at the end of the month (I guess 45 days interest free is okay).
I like the points. And it would be best if it were linked to One World.
If we're spending say $20k per month, what would be the best choice at the moment?

PS. I'm not sure how this forum thing works - apologies if this isn't what people post.

Personal cards usually have better rewards program than business cards so if your business is a 1 or 2 director business maybe it is easier to get a personal card and use it for Business.

If you really want a Business card, maybe consider Citibank Business card.

If you want a personal card, consider Westpac Platinum or NAB Platinum which both don't have points capping (but only 0.66 points per dollar).

You can also consider Amex (better points) but for business many suppliers seem to not accept Amex or charge a surcharge.

Go for a personal Card. The only thing here is to be able to get a credit limit high enough to accomodate $20,000 a month spend, otherwise you will need to pay into the credit card account more often than once a month.

I would not recommend Citi Business with $20K a month spend , as it is capped and after about 3 -4 months you will have reached the cap and earn no more points.
It does yield 1.25 fly points per dollar.

NAB Qantas Plat card is probably the best value card. If you don't mind being linked to Singapore Airlines, then the Singapore Airlines Westpac Platinum Card is a slighlt better earn for the Visa card by 50% ie. if you spend $100K on the Visa card with NAB you will receive 66,666 QFF points and with Westpac it would be 100,000 Krysflier points.

PS.Welcome to the forum. and how does it work.....just read and learn, ask and get various views and share your own experiences. And once a month if you are In Brisbane on a night like tonight, join a few of us for a few drinks and a bite and put some faces to the niks/names.

Maybe a combination?

An AMEX charge card effectively gives between 30 and 60 days "Interest Free".

Combine this with a Visa/Mastercard as already indicated.

And it would be best if it were linked to One World.
Note that OneWorld is not a Frequent Flyer program. Its an alliance of airlines, each of which have their own Frequent Flyer programs.

You main options for laundering Credit Card points/spending into a FF program of a OneWorld Airline are likely to be Qantas (most are now direct sweep into the Qantas FF program), Cathay Pacific (some cards offer transfers from the card program to Cathay's Asia Miles program) and American Airlines (generally Amex Membership Rewards points transferred via Starwood Preferred Guest program, or Diners Club direct transfer or voa SPG).

Thanks for the feedback - and I apologise for the late reply - just got back from holidays.
Good recommendations - the personal cards look good and AMEX for pts.

Looking into it, I think the ANZ card is good.
ANZ F/F platinum.
1.5pts for $1 on AMEX sounds like the benchmark, but it has VISA just in case. 55 days interest free. Qantas. $295 seems cheaper than the straight AMEX cards. No pts cap.
And the company is with ANZ anyway.

Hopefully I haven't missed anything! Banks have a habit of getting us all in the end!
