One world flights showing up on "My bookings" on QF website- or not

I have several flights on OneWorld airlines booked for the next year, among them a JAL J class return to Europe, some US domestic AA flights and others which I booked directly on the airlines website and these all don't show up on the QF FF page. The more I was surprised when I saw random inner European flights booked through the Iberia website (Madrid-Tenerife, Las Palmas- Madrid and Madrid-Berlin) suddenly appearing under "My bookings" on the Qantas website. I can even select my seats through the QF frequent flyer profile

Does anyone know why this is so different among the One World airlines? Strangely, AA segments always show up when they're part of an international QF booking, even if they don't have a codeshare QF flight number but they never show if just booked separately through AA. My best educated guess would be that in order to show up on the QF website, flights need to either be ticketed on QF paper OR the airline needs to also use Amadeus while all the others use a different GDS- not sure if that is the explanation?

Also, which other One World airlines do you know of that work so neatly with QF- BA I would guess? How about Lan Chile, Cathay or Finair- I've never flown with those?

What I believe is happening here is that the QF My Bookings section is calling in to the Amadeus database to find any booking with your QFF number attached to it. Thus, any airline that uses Amadeus (QF, BA, IB etc) should show up -- but as AA uses Sabre, bookings made on their website won't. CX won't either (at least, not until they switch to Amadeus)

I'd actually be curious to see whether bookings made on AA's Australian site show up, considering that uses Amadeus..

They don't. I'm in the sitaution my next flight has AA flights onwards as part of a QF booking made by my company and they show up. I also have an independent AA leg that I've booked myself from the aa.com.au website, and this doesn't show up in my QFF "My Bookings" page.

Also, if you do have an AA booking, use the aa.com (american site) rather than the Australian aa.com.au site to select seats etc. I've noticed better range of choices on the American site.

I booked a return trip on the UK BA site a few weeks back, inputting my and +1's FF numbers. It shows up in My Bookings.

I use the US AA site to manage bookings made with them, my QF WP status is recognised and have been able to select the 1st row of Y on a domestic sector.

My Finnair ones booked directly on the AY website showed up in my QFF "my bookings".
