I have several flights on OneWorld airlines booked for the next year, among them a JAL J class return to Europe, some US domestic AA flights and others which I booked directly on the airlines website and these all don't show up on the QF FF page. The more I was surprised when I saw random inner European flights booked through the Iberia website (Madrid-Tenerife, Las Palmas- Madrid and Madrid-Berlin) suddenly appearing under "My bookings" on the Qantas website. I can even select my seats through the QF frequent flyer profile
Does anyone know why this is so different among the One World airlines? Strangely, AA segments always show up when they're part of an international QF booking, even if they don't have a codeshare QF flight number but they never show if just booked separately through AA. My best educated guess would be that in order to show up on the QF website, flights need to either be ticketed on QF paper OR the airline needs to also use Amadeus while all the others use a different GDS- not sure if that is the explanation?
Also, which other One World airlines do you know of that work so neatly with QF- BA I would guess? How about Lan Chile, Cathay or Finair- I've never flown with those?
