I tried a few different places like Hong Kong, Singapore & New Zealand to start the trip but once I hit Europe or North America it always seemed to say I was backtracking if I tried to get Oz from that point & then carry on to whichever of Europe or North America I hadn't visited. Maybe I have to start in South America or Africa to do that?
So the intention was to get a separate reward ticket for the return to Oz & back to rejoin the trip in the 2nd part of the 12 months. If I'm going to do that then I'm wondering if I'm just better off going the less complicated way of just doing 2 completely separate trips & not a Oneworld RTW.
