It looks like Accor have finally moved with the times and begun to offer online check-in / fast check-out.

Have utilised this at Novotel Brisbane a couple of times. Has been very fast and efficient so far.

Have those who have used the online checkin found that it has had any affect on upgrade opportunities?
I have never taken up the online checkin offer incase I don't get offered a room upgrade.

Used it for a night stay at Sofitel Broadbeach, was of no use really, still had to do what I would call 'old school' check in procedures.

Plat benefits were given, nice letter from GM, expect for lounge access as the property has no exec lounge.

I trialled it at Sofitel Brisbane and it was super quick. It would be a real benefit if you happened to arrive at the same time as a tour group or the like.

Any lounge benefits there yet for Platinum members? Spoke to someone in Pullman at weekend who stayed there and said he gained access to the club lounge for 3 nights being Platinum member:shock:

I stayed there more than 8 weeks ago and wasn't offered access at that time.
