I've had a few mystery notifications lately regarding my Qantas Business Rewards accounts, emails telling me verification code.
Only, I didn't request these.
First time was maybe a month ago. I called Qantas Business Rewards Service Centre because I was concerned about any un-authorised attempts to access my account. They were not able to tell me much except to suggest I change my security questions and PIN - done and done.
Now I've just had two come through again on Saturday night.
I recently (maybe 6 wks ago) linked my Qantas Business Rewards acct to my Qantas account online. Could that possibly be causing this? Seems odd there was no activity on this account for years and then once I linked it to QF acct, seems like attempts to access my account. Does one system check the other on a monthly basis? (sorry to be techno-deficient here).
Appreciate any input or speculation.
