Good morning all,

Ex pat living in Melbourne, moved here 10 years ago leaving a job that took me around the world giving me free FF points and status. But sadly that has all gone now with the current job and COVID !!

Travelling back to the UK this year so thanks for the help across various forums I have posted in, and looking at a paid RTW next year so will avidly follow the forums for hints and tips.

Plus I love reading the trip reports, especially those in Y now that is where I travel :(

Hi @Peanutbladder

Good on yer. Expat here too, 20 years odd, slumming it in the tropical north :)

I'm off to the UK this year as well, first trip for nearly 3 years! I'm keen to hear about all experiences. I'm especially interested in the situation at Sydney, as I'm leaving on June 1st.

Anyway, good luck on your travels!

In Melbourne myself. I am leaving on the 2nd June from MEL to MAN via DXB. Looking forward to going back I have not been there for 6 years and missing a pint of proper bitter !!!

He he.

I know I'll cop some flak, but Aussie beer is just not up to scratch! I do love a real bitter too. Probably the only thing I miss about the auld country, apart from family.
