Option to hide images in posts

Is there a user preference setting that prevents the display of images in posts?
If not, is it possible to add that functionality?

XF 2.2 - Hide image option for Users

I am surprised that this function, quite obviously, does not exist with Xenforo !? Many of our members would like to hide images in postings and avatars. Is that possible? Best regards, Silmarillion

I've looked at that solution, and while it would be possible if @admin felt adventurous getting into the code, I believe there is a new version of Xenforo around the corner and it might cause incompatibilities when that launches. If it isn't in that new version by default, the question may need to be asked again of the user on the Xenforo forums "Paul B" to see if his code needs changing.

Xenforo 2.3 looks really good, if and when AFF decides to upgrade to it. It has features such as SSO that would have been useful a year ago
