The Office of State Revenue Queensland now accepts credit card payments for Stamp Duty, Payroll Tax and Land Tax. I am assuming the $5k maximum is for each payment and not in total.
Their website says:
Credit card payments
"We now accept credit card payments for amounts up to $5,000 (minimum $10). You can pay your tax liability through BPOINT® using your Visa or Mastercard. Call 1300 803 545 and follow the prompts or pay online.
When making phone or online payments, ensure you use the correct biller code and payment reference code so that your payment is applied correctly. A 0.5% surcharge applies to all BPOINT payments."
